Gmail not updating on android phone Free sex chat with woman without login
As a workaround, Samsung's Email app is auto-syncing properly.
I was able to fix this problem (and also the absence of my phone from the Android Device Manager listings) using some combination of these methods: https://productforums.google.com/for...ay/X3f4Pm L7Zf8 solved the problem uninstalling all the gmail updates and stopping the autoupdates from the play store. @ Isidrology is right, for the S7 with nougat I went to settings, device maintenance, battery, battery usage, hit the 3 dots in upper right corner, optimize battery usage, change drop down to all apps, and deselect gmail and whatever else you don't want doze messing with your phone.
While looking for a solution to this, I discovered that I was not alone in this issue.
Nearly everyone with a newer Android phone had stopped receiving notifications about email.
The next possible solution would be to disable the "Battery optimization" features for Gmail and Hangouts, which is an element of Doze and App Standby that was introduced in Android Marshmallow.
Other apps (such as Google Voice) successfully push messages to the phone, resulting in immediate notification. I tried clearing data and cache for gmail and then reestablishing the account, but that didn't help.To start, head to Android's main Settings menu, then choose the "Apps" entry. From here, tap the three-dot menu button at the top of the screen, and select the "Show system" option.I can’t speak for other apps, but with optimization turned off, Gmail uses less than 1% of my total battery. This is such an insignificant amount of battery, one has to wonder why Google would optimize it by default.
